The newborn Experience
The way they look so small in your arms, or curled up perfectly in your neck, their tiny little toes, and the gentle way that they breathe and coo. The most precious time to photograph a newborn baby is within two weeks of birth. During this time babies will sleepy and snuggly. Your tiny, sleepy newborn will make for the most memorable and meaningful baby pictures. Newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your own home. On your couch, master bed, and in the nursery. Newborn sessions are baby-led meaning we will go at your baby's pace. We will stop and take as many breaks as needed to feed or sooth baby. While the session will primarily focus on baby, the rest of the family is welcome and encouraged to join.

Based on your due date we can schedule a tentative session date. Once your baby is born, we will touch base to determine if our date still works and adjust it as needed. Is your baby already here? That's fine too! I'll respond within 24 hours.

Let's make it official! Together we will select a time, date, and Collection that works best for you. A retainer of $200 and a signed agreement are required to secure your date on my calendar. Any other inquiries for your date and time will be turned down. I'm all yours!

You can reach out to me at any time as we approach your session! I am here to answer any questions you may have. I want to know what your priorities are in the session. Send me photos of your outfits for advice, or have me send you a color scheme that will work with the style of your home!
4. session day!
Yaye! We will meet at your home. The session will be baby-led. We will stop and take as many breaks as needed to feed or sooth baby. During the session I will capture the joyful moments of your family together, baby by themselves, as well as any special details (the nursery, special made items, or family heirlooms).
5. your photographs
Within 72 hours of your session, you will receive a link to your proofing gallery. After viewing your images you will then create your favorites list. Two weeks after your selection, you will receive another gallery with your beautifully retouched images ready to download and print!
Collections from $500
Only choose the images you love! It's that simple. A retainer of $200 is due at the time of booking and is included in your total investment. Choose your own beautiful images in your Collection. Because I believe images should be hanging on your walls and sitting on your tables to admire, each gallery is connected to a professional printing lab. I offer a wide variety of beautiful and unique ways to print your images. Within my professional print shop you get to choose how to print and display your images that best fit your home and style.

Katrina did such a beautiful job capturing our family for our newborn photos. She was extremely patient, flexible, talented and kind. She provided us with such a variety of perfect photos I ended up ordering them all because she did such a great job capturing each moment. Her turn around time is quick as well. I would definitely recommend her for any of your photography needs.
Katrina was wonderful to work with for our in-home newborn photos! She was very flexible and accommodating to work with our schedule, even when we had to reschedule a couple of times due to weather concerns. She was great with our older children in engaging them and making them feel included also, and she captured some wonderful shots of everyone. Images were beautifully and professionally edited, and our gallery was delivered within a week. Overall we had a great experience with Katrina and Kehlani Rose Photography!
I love how my images turned out! The shoot was so easy and I felt comfortable the whole time, which is saying something for being just a few weeks postpartum. I love that I’ll always have these priceless memories to look back on!
